Cameo - Life's a Journey

I recently met up with Michael Tyas when he was in Portland. We got together and chatted about videoblogging, insects and Oregon's secession from the USA. We met at Stumptown Coffee on Belmont, then adjourned to Laughing Planet for lunch. Here is the videoblog entry Michael made of that encounter. In it, you'll see me babbling about who knows what.

I don't like seeing myself on video, it makes me feel (realize I am) mumbly and incoherent. I need to work on my "public speaking voice".

Hey! I understand you! And you answered the 'feelings are wrong' question so well.

Impromptu vote, who thinks that Ed should be in front of the camera more often?

Maybe you could say he's mumbly, but he's certainly not incoherent.

Oh come on, you sound fine.

Also, I wanted to email you, but I'm not finding an addy on your site. I'm setting up a Portland Apple store Videoblogging HowdyDo and wondered if you were interested in being a part of it. If not, I would still like to meetup.

Schlomo! My email's on my profile here on Blogger... but I can't find yours. I am "oed" to the "at" to the "yahoo" to the "dot com".

I'd be interested in presenting a little somethin' somethin', sure. Also, I'd like to meet-up with whomever we can wrangle.

I don't know of many Portland vloggers.

Wow, that's just great! I'm going to keep my ears open for a meeting in Ontario.

I want to go to a vlog meet up too!

Ive watched a couple videos on meetups.. i think it would be cool if there was a theme.

Or a local event that everyone could tape - and then meetup at the end.

Or we could all dress up like yoda and only speak in Yoda quotes.

Or we could just video shoes. Talking shoes.

Or..
