Break Time

We can't be everywhere at once. We can't even be anywhere at once. We perceive our visual world as unified simultaneous event, but really our brains are filling in the blanks all the time. This video is an exaggeration of the asynchronous and fragmented world we might see if we disengaged the predictive agents in our brains.

Probably not going to happen. Though you can see me spinning around in makeup in the "Behind the Scenes" video.

I loved this. I imagine that the first cinematic 'art' camera work in the 20's and 30's must have looked as strange. I fully expect a feature film to have this kind of editing in it one day soon.

I wonder why the music becomes kind of "dark" at the end?

Here's a place you can go to blow your mind hearing the finest scholars talking about brain/mind/consciousness theories:
www.consciousness.arizona.edu

I'll be there next year.

Wonderful. Wonderful!

Love this fragmenting technique. Expands perspective / perception.

You've made me begin to see the world in this way.

Hope to play with the idea soon.

Thanks for the inspiration.

Fucking amazing, man. The trees are my favorite. The fact that their images clashed spectacularly with the industrial techno music somehow exaggerated their beauty.

It was a neat concept to begin with, but your little write up made it stand out something special.

I'm back, and I've got you in my feed. 1 video down, 25 more to go. You're also currently featured on my site :O)
